The Brewers Cottage was originally designed for Annette as a place to brew her beer but the charm of its recycled brick floor and macrocarpa interior ensured it soon became in demand as guest accommodation. [Annette’s home-made beer recipes are still waiting for a new home!]
A second storey bedroom with a small balcony overlooks the river and there is a second smaller double bedroom downstairs, with a sofa bed in the lounge if required.
The bathroom with a view across the river is accessed via an enclosed porch area and has a waterless commercial composting loo.
A covered back porch with a wood-fired bath looks out towards the citrus and avocado orchard with a backdrop of native bush clad hills.
$200 per night, double or twin, $40 for each extra person.
